In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Francis's name towards the landscaping of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.

A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Brenda Korinek. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Aurora Medical Center, Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, the Dialysis Program and the Hospice Program for the care they extended to the family. He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Jeanette Stevens, and one brother-in-law, Bernard Schuler. Funeral Mass will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.

Rev. Frank Weber, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. The Rosary will be recited in the church on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.

A memorial fund will be established in his name. Sippel Funeral Home of New Holstein is assisting the family. Herald Times Reporter Nov. 26, 2001 Beulah J. Hobbs, age 81, formerly of 1019 Division St, Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, Nov.

22, 2001 at Harmony House West, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Bruce Bitter will officiate with burial of her cremated remains later at Evergreen Cemetery.

Beulah, daughter of the late Walter and Lola Schwalbe Gottschalk was born in Manitowoc, Oct. 19, 1920. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1938. In later years she worked at Johnson Hills Department Store as a sales clerk. She married Lyle, A.

Hobbs on June 2, 1945 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Dec. 13, 1992. Beulah was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church and former member of First German Ladies Aid Society. Beulah enjoyed her family and being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons; Dr. Kenneth (Terry) Hobbs, Topeka, Dr. Jan (Marion) Hobbs, Lewisburg, Kevin (Barbara) Hobbs, Thousand Oaks, two daughters, Robert J. Robert J. Hoerth, age 62, of 1514 Pleasant New Hol-stein, died Saturday, Nov.

24, 2001 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born June 28, 1939 in Hilbert, son of Florence Heimerl and the late Alfred Hoerth. Robert attended Holy Rosary Grade School in New Holstein, Saint Peter Paul Grade School in Kiel and graduated from Kiel High School. He served in the Navy from 1958 to 1962. On Oct.

2, 1965 he married Rose Ann Lefeber at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong. Bob worked at Kohler Company for 29 years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein and the Knights of Columbus, a former Boy Scout leader and a former member of the Brothertown and Quinney Fishing Clubs. Survivors include hie wife, Rose Ann of New Holstein; three children, Rita of Minneapolis, Randall and his friend Kristen Bucher of Houston, Rick and his fiance Jenny Rucinski of Hud Rosella Rosella M. Bunker, age 79, of 6619 Highway 147, town of Gibson, died Sunday, Nov.

25, 2001 at her residence. Complete arrangements will be announced Heart attack claims From staff reports MANITOWOC A 62-year-old Calumet County man died Saturday after suffering a heart attack while hunting in southern Manitowoc County. Robert Hoerth of New Holstein was found unconscious in M. Francis (Skinny) Leitermann, age 74, of 2424 Michigan Manitowoc, died Nov. 24, 2001 at his residence.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001 at 9:45 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10:30 am. at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, St. Joseph Site, Alverno.

Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Beaudry with burial to follow at St Joseph Cemetery, Alverno. He was born on Aug. 25, 1927 in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, the son of the late Joseph and Amelia Popp Lietermann. Francis graduated from St.

Joseph Parochial School. He married the former Janet Cichantek on June 24, 1950 at St Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on May 4, 1976. Francis then married the former LaVerne Kattner Hartlaub on Nov. 17, 1978 at St.

Joseph Catholic Church. He farmed in Manitowoc Rapids until 1978. He was also employed with the town of Manitowoc Rapids from 1954 until 1965 and the Manitowoc County Highway Department from 1965 until 1989. Francis was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, St.

Joseph site, and St. Joseph Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights Branch 298, Manitowoc County Highway Department Union and the Manitowoc Senior Center. Francis was a past County Supervisor of Manitowoc Rapids. Francis is survived by his wife LaVerne, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerome and Amanda Lietermann, Kenosha, and Ronald and Mary Leitermann, Two Rivers; two daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, Susan and Kenneth Karbon, Manitowoc, and Yvonne and Davis Reno, Manitowoc; four stepsons and two stepdaughters-in-law, Paul Hartlaub and special friend Jeanette Mrotek, Manitowoc, Gene and Theresa Hartlaub, Newton, Dennis and Stacy Hartlaub, Newton, and Robert Hartlaub, New York, N.Y.; one step- Lorraine Lorraine Reinemann, age 95, of 1609 N. 9th Str in Sheboygan, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 24, 2001, at Mead-owview Manor Nursing Home where she had been a resident for one day.

She was born October 2, 1906 in Two Rivers, a daughter to the late Michael and Mary (nee Brunner) Kanzelberger. Lorraine was a graduate of Two Rivers High School. She and Wilfred W. "Whitey" Reinemann were united in marriage on September 1, 1928. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1981.

The couple resided in Kohler for many years until retiring to Marinette County. She had resided in Sheboygan since her husband's death, most recently with her daughter. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Name Parish in Sheboygan. She was also a member of St. Anne's Society.

Surviving Lorraine are four sons: John (Joan) of Ruskin, FL, Glenn of Pembine, Floyd (Patricia) of Boulder Junction, and Roger (Karen) of Mequon, one daughter: Judith Vreeke of Sheboygan. She is further survived by 23 grandchildren, 33 great Ruth P. Ruth P. Schmidt, age 73, of 212 Wisconsin Brillion, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 at St.

Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton. Ruth was born Feb 23, 1928 in Kewaunee, daughter of the late Anton V. and Delia (Smidel) Skarvan. She graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1946. She married Harvey Schmidt on Sept.

11, 1948 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Norman, Wis. The couple resided on a dairy farm near Kewaunee until they moved to Brillion in 1956. Ruth belonged to Holy Family Catholic Church, Brillion, the Christian Mothers and the Ladies Society. Survivors include her husband Harvey and a son, Dr.

James H. (Wanda) Schmidt Reinemann Mathilda KVvnio 15002 Mineral Springs Rd. in rural Newton, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 24, 2001. She was born March 14, 1924 in Elkhart Lake, a daughter to the late Peter and Ann Mary "Mamie" (nee Klein) Faust Mathilda attended school in Elkhart Lake. Mathilda and Raymond J.

Koenig were united in marriage on November 20, 1943 at St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Spring Valley. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1984. The couple, along with their nine daughters farmed the family homestead from 1943 until 1980.

She was a housewife, and was happy she was able to live on the farm for so many wonderful years. Mathilda was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in School Hill where she was a member of the Christian Womens group. She loved to have her family around and enjoyed family reunions with her cousins. She enjoyed her pet bird and companion, Angel. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette and husband, Arno Leonhard, and The-cla Andre.

She was further preceded in death by one grandson, Joseph Schneider and a brother in law, Aloysius Leonhard. Surviving Mathilda are nine daughters: Mary Jane (Jerome) Jacoby of Sheboygan, Elaine (Bernard) Shesta of Cleveland, Susan James) Dax of New London, Eileen (David) Lallensack, Patricia (Thomas) Schneider, Rachel (Robert) Schneider all of Newton, Clara (Robert) Salm of School Hill, Grace (David) Scheibl of Howards Grove, and Juliana (Jeffrey) Matthies of Lebanon, Indiana. She is also survived by thirty one grandchildren: Angela (Scott) Anhalt, Jonathan (Amy) Jacoby, Victoria, Rebecca, Michael and Christopher Shesta, Craig (Lanae) Lallensack, Sara (Chad) Jeanty, Sandy, Kevin, Cheri, Michelle Lallensack, Laura (Joshua) Toepfer, Tom and Andrew Schneider, Chris (Steve) Carter, Tony Schneider (special friend Rita Schaefer), Tammy Schneider (special friend Ryan Gaedtke), Matthew Schneider (special friend Michelle Brath), Amanda Schneider (special Loretta Clara Loretta Clara Gustaveson, age 90, formerly of 1603 S. 13th Sheboygan, died on Saturday morning, Nov. 24, 2001 at St.

Joseph's Home in Kenosha. Loretta was born on April 16, 1911 in the town of Cato, Manitowoc County, a daughter of the late John and Sophie (Staudinger) Schmidt. She attended schools at St. Mary's in Clarks Mills, Wis. On April 20, 1932 she married Norman E.

Gustaveson at St. Mary's in Clarks Mills. Norman preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1980. Mrs.

Gustaveson had been employed after school at Aluminum Goods in Manitowoc and in the 1960s worked in the Coffee Shop at the Kenosha Hospital. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her home and family. She was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan and the St. Ann Christian Women's Society and the Mission Society at the church.

She worked at the Senior Center site meals and was a member of Jolly Claver Club and the Breakfast Club. She was a member of a sewing club and a homemakers group in Kenosha and loved flowers and gardening. Survivors include a son, Lyle J. (Janis) Gustaveson of Boulder Lawrence Lawrence G. Pieschel, age 55, of 3814 Marshall Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, Nov.

25, 2001 at his residence. Complete arrangements will Roland A. Roland A. Habermann, age 90, of 20312 Highway 151, Valders, was born to eternal life on Friday, Nov. 23, 2001 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Hol-stein.

Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, 2001 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Collins.

Officiating at the service will be Rev. Ross Henzi. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call on the family at the CHURCH from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Mathilda B.

She was preceded in death by two sons, James and John, in infancy and four brothers, Bernard Schmidt, Leo Schmidt, Gordon Schmidt and John Schmidt, and a sister, Eleanor Behnke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Loretta on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 at 11:30 a.m.

at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church with the Reverent Brian Szyszko as celebrant. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Novak-Ramm-Zieger Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th on Monday, Nov.

Herald Times Reporter Nov. 26, 2001 New Holstein hunter his tree stand by members of his hunting party, said Manitowoc County Deputy Coroner Jeff Schroeder.

He died shortly after being taken to Calumet Medical Center. The cause of death was listed as cardiac disrhythmia. after a man was found Saturday after hunting in Clark County. The seven apparent gun-related hunting deaths are the highest in a nine-day deer hunt since 1987, when eight people were killed. fit MHJr- grandchildren, two sisters: Leona Mrotek of Omro and Salome MacDonald of Two one sister-in-law: Elmina Kanzelberger of Two Rivers.

Lorraine was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Joyce Reinemann, three brothers: Leo, Richard and George Kanzelberger and one sister: Isabelle Schultz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Lorraine on Thursday, November 29, 2001 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 807 Superior Ave. in Sheboygan, with Reverend Ed Monroe as celebrant Private Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. Friends may call on the family at the CHURCH beginning at 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass.
